Cradle Roll - 4th Grade

childrenofGod logowebAs part of the Eternal Life Studies, the Cradle Roll thru 4th grade program is called Children of God & The Christ Studies. The Children of God & The Christ Studies will focus on the core foundations of God’s Love and Jesus through Bible stories from the Old and New Testament. The goal is to study in a chronological approach the Old and New Testament at least twice from the time they enter Cradle Roll until the completion of the 4th grade. Within these age groups, the curriculum will help each student “Learn” the core foundations of God’s Word.  Here is what we want to provide for your child or grandchild at this stage of their life; assuming they begin Cradle Roll classes at a month of age, there is potential that your child could have over 230 classes in Old Testament studies and 180 more classes in New Testament studies by the time they complete the 4th grade. Wow! Going through the Bible twice as their learning ability matures is exciting!  The foundation will help prepare them for the next studies in the 5th and 6th grade.

faithstudies logowebAs part of the Eternal Life Studies, the 5th and 6th grades are called “Faith Studies.”  The Faith Studies will focus on doing something with their faith from what they learned in the core foundations of the Old Testament and New Testament via The Children of God & The Christ Studies. The goal is for students to fully understand who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit really are and what God has revealed through the Scriptures concerning them.  From this understanding, students should begin to “own” their faith, consider strongly becoming a Christian, and begin living the Christian life.  Students will be better able to define their faith through the evidence discussed.  The Faith Studies will enable and equip each student’s foundation in The Bible to own their Faith and prepare each for the next studies in 7th through 12th Grade.

7th - 12th Grade Overview

FidesImmortalis logowebAs part of the Eternal Life Studies, the 7th through 12th grades are called “Fides Immortalis” (Latin) meaning  “Faith Eternal Studies.” Fides Immortalis is meant to focus on a phase of development in a young person’s life where “application” or “true ownership” of their faith introduced in the “Children of God and The Christ Studies” and “Faith Studies” will be made strong. The goal of “true ownership” will be enabled by encouraging the student to choose classes they want to attend based on subject (i.e. – Spiritual topics, Bible subjects, Bible books, etc) and providing teachers who are “experts” in the subjects. This approach will challenge teens toward deeper studies at home, being encouraged to share their faith with others, and ensuring they “want” to apply their faith for God. Rather than forcing them into classes because of their age or gender, choosing their own classes is more age appropriate in view of their maturity in life. Ownership and command of subjects by the teachers will allow a strong engagement with students who are “wanting” to grow and apply the Bible in their life.  In the end, the students coming out of The Eternal Life Studies curriculum will be equipped, enabled and empowered as a strong servant for God, understanding His Love for all and to live a Christ-like life.
