ABOUT AGAPE ASIA

Agape Asia has a large group of partners in Asia and here in the U.S., who help care for the children, primarily in the areas of education, family services, and medical care.  In Asia, they work with churches, charities, and individuals who have a passion for the same things – making a difference in the life of a child by sharing the Father’s love with them. Their support comes from individuals, organizations, and churches, all of whom help make a difference in the lives of children they do not personally know — all because of God’s extraordinary love.

• In China, they care for more than 300 children – supporting four care centers and four regional foster care programs.
• In Mongolia, they care for more than 100 children – supporting family based foster care in three districts around Ulaanbaatar, mentoring youth in the children’s prison, and providing a women’s training empowerment program.
• In Myanmar, they care for more than 50 children through family-based foster  care – supporting several families who have taken children into their homes.  Most of these children are from the border regions of the country which are suffering from civil war and ethnic conflict.
• In Nepal, they care for more than 50 children – supporting family based foster care in several different regions including Kathmandu.  The children are in need because of recent earthquakes or other natural disasters that have displaced their families or killed their parents.
• India Discipleship Network is now part of Agape Asia. The principle goal has always been to help our partners in India to become self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating.

There are opportunities to sponsor a child (providing school and daily needs) and for planned giving.

Also, two of our Buford families have adopted youth with assistance from this organization, formerly China Agape.
