What does it mean for the Bible to be inspired? How were these 66 books brought together? Should other books be included? Can we trust our Bibles since we don’t have the original texts penned by its authors? Which English translation(s) is/are best? Such questions will be answered in this class as we exam the origin, canonization, and translation of the Bible with the goal of increasing our confidence that it is in fact God’s inspired word.
