ABOUT OUR MEN’S MINISTRY
Come and join the men of the Buford congregation as we glorify God. Our focus is to help all men to commit to Christ’s authority in the church, their home, career and community. We offer many opportunities for men to come together for Bible study and fellowship.
Band of Brothers
Men age 18+ are invited to join us for Bible Study. Group participants are experiencing some of the same issues in life. We talk openly as we discuss different Biblical concepts. Breakout groups allow us a smaller setting to discuss the topics further. Learn and share along with men you have casually met, in a casual setting. Strengthen yourself and others to be leaders and workers in God’s church. Make new friends, encourage each other and become part of the Band of Brothers. Join us the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Various men teach and lead the discussion. We meet in the Upper Room off of the top parking lot. Questions: Wayne Johnson
“Churches In the Shape Of Scripture” by Dan Chambers.
“Could you tell me something about the church of Christ?” “Could you tell me the difference between the church of Christ and the ___________ church?” If you’ve ever asked questions like these–or been on the receiving end of them– then this is the book for you. Expect to walk away from this book not only knowing what churches of Christ are all about, but also with a clear understanding of many of the beliefs and practices that distinguish them from other church groups. Don’t be surprised, though, if you also walk away with a renewed conviction that being a New Testament-shaped church is a goal worth pursuing, and that doing things God’s way really does matter.
See the bulletin for next meeting or website calendar.
The Buford men, along with their sons and grandsons, come together for a time of fellowship. You are also encouraged to invite a friend! (Postponed)
