ONLINE OUTREACH
Our Online Outreach began in 2005 with Buford’s first church website. The church having internet presence became a great tool for letting people know about God’s Word, the church, and our congregation throughout the world. It has always been our goal to provide resources and study tools so a person can learn God’s plan and enhance their Bible study. Buford church of Christ has hundreds of articles and sermons available on our website, with content added weekly. The website is also a membership tool for communications and events.
Social Media has also developed over the years. Facebook and Instagram are the platforms we have chosen to reach out to the community. The minister’s article is posted weekly, and we boost an Ad for specific groups by age and cities in our area. Members share posts to expand the outreach. Many followers of our page benefit from articles that inform and challenge the reader. Special Buford events are also posted to invite the community.
Live-streaming is another area of our outreach. Online worship and Bible classes benefit our members that cannot be in-person and allow an option all over the world to attend with us “live.” We are diligent to provide Biblical classes and worship services as patterned in the Bible. Our streaming team captures our content for website libraries and manages a Podcast channel (buford coc’s sermon stream).
The Buford church of Christ will continue to reach out through online platforms in hopes of furthering the Kingdom.
