Rebekah: The Overlooked Woman

When you think about important women in the Bible, I doubt you usually think about Rebekah. Many preachers and commentators traditionally view Rebekah in a negative light. She tends to be described as deceitful, selfish, and manipulative. But is that a fair summation of the character of Rebekah? We have to remember that Rebekah was chosen by God to be Isaac’s wife. So, maybe it’s possible that we have overlooked something about Rebekah that God saw.
